Managing FTP bookmarks


 

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP is used to upload files to another location on the Internet (for example, to the site on the Internet where your reports are kept). This will allow you to publish your reports to the internet or an intranet in a simple one-step process.

 

To manage the list of FTP bookmarks:

 

        Click the Tools button image060 from the standard toolbar.

        The list manager will appear.

To create a new FTP bookmark:

 

        Click the FTP Bookmark tab from the list manager.

        Click the New button from the list manager (See Working with Bookmarks).

 

To modify an existing FTP bookmark:

 

        Click the FTP Bookmark tab from the list manager.

        Highlight the FTP bookmark you want to modify.

        Click the Edit button from the list manager (See Working with Bookmarks).

 

To delete an existing FTP bookmark:

 

        Click the FTP Bookmark tab from the list manager.

        Highlight the FTP bookmark you want to delete.

        Click the Delete button from the list manager.

        Click Yes when the confirmation dialog box appears. The FTP bookmark will be permanently removed from ViewerFX for Crystal Reports.

 

Note: This action is unrecoverable. The only way to retrieve a deleted FTP bookmark is to restore a backup copy of the ViewerFX for Crystal Reports database.
